St.Austell a long way in 1935

1935 st austell

A move from Welling, Kent to St.Austell Cornwall in 1935 was a full weeks work. With a vehicle with a top speed of 30 mph, no motorways, just small roads it was easy to stop even on a main road. As you can see from the picture very little traffic. The photo was taken in 1935 just outside St.Austell in Cornwall.

The crew was Len Bonner the founder of the moving company and Ted Frank.
